to contemporary. With a particular interest in innovative artistic pioneers

American bimonthly magazine that celebrates roots/traditional/folk/world
music. A great review of North American folk music, along with some excellent
columns on world music from farther afield.

Previously "Folk Roots," this British magazine has been covering
modern and traditional music with roots from around the globe, from Anglo-trad
to Zanzibar pop for over 25 years.

Canada's folk, roots, and world music magazine. Published 4 times a year.
