The Fielmuo Kukur Bagr Festival of Northern Ghana, sponsored by Jumbie Records, supports the continuation of traditional xylophone music and dance of the Dagara people.

 

Pictures from Raul's recent trip to Guinea:

Fulani dancer Check outh these pictures from a Fulani music and dance peformance at the French Ambassador's home. The dance was extremely acrobatic, and oddly enough, some of their clothing is similar to some Hungarian folk garb. See for yourself.

El Hadj Diallo and the rest of his family were extremely helpful to Raul, and here are some photos of them.

The grandparents of the Diallo clan live is a small idyllic town called Dunkimanya.

Dalaba is a town in Fouta Djallon, a lovely mountainous region in the northern part of Guinea, West Africa.
